1. Most popular pay-for-play game is World of Warcraft, developed by Blizzard Entertainment. It has over 11 millions of gamers worldwide!

2. Many MMORPGs exploit their players’ social skills and offer many bonuses for in-game guilds or clans. Of course you don’t need to subscribe yourself to guild or clans, you can always play as loner.

3. Time Card can subscribe you to game for 2 months period, after that, you need to obtain another one to continue your in-game journey.

4. There are MMORPGs free-to-play, like Maple Story or RuneScape or pay-for-play, like World of Warcraft or Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning, Lord of the Rings Online: Shadow of Angmar or Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures.

5. There are some free-to-play online MMORPG, such as Runescape, where only about half the game is free and you would have to pay for monthly subscription to play the full version. This kind of subscription system is getting more popular.

6. Basically there are three class archetypes in all MMORPGs. 9. MMORPG, or massively multiplayer online role-playing games is term invented by Richard Garrior, creator of Ultima Online. He is also creator of Tabula Rasa, but this game was an epic fail. Sorry Richard, maybe next time…

Online games and Final Fantasy

There is one of the online games, which is worth to try out, especially, if you are fan of the jRPG games – Final Fantasy XI. If you ever played in any part of Final Fantasy, you will definitely like to try it out. Class(job) system is very good and is similar to this one of online games - Lineage II – you are choosing a „core” job and after several levels, you have to choose your speciality. Basic jobs are:

Warrior – very hard to defeat while being healed, warrior, is the one who is core of the party. He's got most hp, most armor and is very dangerous.

Monk – using quick and deadly rain of punches, monks are great support when it's come to dealing a lot of damage per second.

Thief – stealthmasters and artisans of stabbing. When thief is around, watch your and your's team back or you will regret it.

White Mage – White mages are mainly supporters and heal friends using their magic. It's impossible to any party survive during the raids without them.

Black Mage – ultimate destructors and masters of dealing lot of damage in a short time. They are vulnerable to enemy hits though.

Red Mage – Red mages are masters of optimalization white and black magic, and sword master as well. Good for lonewolves.

By the way there are five things important about FFXI – you should know them if you want to play in this game.

1. Final Fantasy XI Online, is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game, made and published by Square as part of the Final Fantasy series. FF XI is first online game developed by Square, set in the FF universe.

2. There are 32 public server for Final Fantasy XI, available for play with approximately 15 k to 20 k gamers on each. Servers all called, Bahamut, Leviathan, Hades, Ragnarok, Valefor or Ramuh etc.

3. According to official announcement, there are three additional expansions in development, Squere Enix noted FF XI still has a strong user base of around five-hundred thousands subscribed players. Like other FF games, FF XI is mostly popular in Japan, but has fans also in other countries like USA or GB.

4. Final Fantasy XI was awarded the great prize from the CESA - Japan’s Consumer Entertainment Software Association + other important Japanese prizes.

In game you meet many other players, find out gripping quests and many marvelous locations. There is also monster farming and leveling of your character, which can be sometimes really boring. Try to play without any pressure, if you are bored, leave game for some time. It’s free so you can always go back to Maple ;-)

As you can see MS is very simple, but sweet 2D game. It’s looking like classical platform game. And game is for totally free, so you don’t have to pay lot of cash for subscription. I think it’s strongest point of Maple Story and thats why game has almost 50 millions of players - this makes Maple Story, most popular MMORPG ever created.

Life is so easy when you believe in that...Well i hope this new 2009 will be great for you in all aspects. You will be more happy, full of joy and even if something goes wrong you will stand fast on your feets again!

If you ever need a break from World of Warcraft, you can also try out amazing space MMO - Eve Online, game created CCP Games. EvE is first massively multiplayer online role-playing game set in a science fiction space setting. Taking place 20,000 years in the future, the fictional background story of Eve Online explains that long ago humankind, having used up most of Earth’s resources, began colonizing the rest of the Milky Way. Player is controling his own starship and travel through galaxy. Each Eve Online account allows for up to three characters to be made.

In EVE, your abilities progress based on a real-time clock. These training timers can be altered based on character stats – determined via starter stats, cybernetic implants, and some other skills. So no more farming like in our favorite World of Warcraft or other MMORPGs.

Official money in EvE Online are called ISK, you can earn this currency by mining, trading recourses or pirating. PvE in EvE is related to mining, ruining missions or kill pirates at local asteroid belts.

Mining involves the harvesting of various minerals, gasses, or ices. Well, mining is really boring, so if you want some action, you should focus on Player vs. Player aspects.

Piracy (in-game, you know Arrr stuff ;-) is part of the game, as is protection racketeering, theft, and ransom -in EvE Online, players can do whatever they want! CCP is not involving into any kind of in-game interventions. Their main idea is to create, self-creating world with all power for the players. Case is controversial because, there were really huge scams in EvE Online, which create a wave of controversy.

Well, gamers are able to participate in any number of in-game professions and activities, including mining, manufacturing, trade or exploration.

Few words about WoW

MMO market..

After releasing of World of Warcraft in 2004, everything changed. Now this probably one of the biggest hit in history of games has 10 millions of people subscribed and playing statistically one time per week. Is this much? There are more popular online games like Maple Story, (around 60 millions of players!!!!Mostly from China..) but Maple Story is popular because it’s available for free.

To play in World of Warcraft you need lots money, around 15 $ per month of playing. I’m after few months of World of Warcraft and earlier I played in Linage II. Now I’m playing in Lord of the Rings Online, and what can I say? Now it’s best time for evolution of this genre, all games i mentioned are based on fighting nonstop with monsters to get gold or experience – its boring. I’m bored after month of playing in Lotro because of that.
It’s time for something new! I heard about Age of Conan but I dunno much about this game, I only hope this game is better, with new ideas and with less something called grinding ;-) you know this monster fighting stuff..;-)

Other game, about you should know about, is EverQuest 2 released in late 2004. Game is set in universe very similar to that related to original EverQuest, but this “sequel” takes place 500 years after the awakening of great ghost dragon Kerafyrm, The Sleeper.

I would like to tell you about character creation in EverQuest, well as I see it, you should carefully pick your character because there is many option to play in EQ. Anyway check out this cool video.

There are really many classes but there are four archetypes on the beginning (just like in Lineage 2) - Fighter, Scout, Priest and Mage. You can pick class after level 10 and sub-class at level 20. Well each archetype has 3 classes and each class has 2 subclasses so like Mage has classes, Sorcerer, Summoner, Enchanter. Sorcerer’s subclass is Wizard and Warclock, Summoner can be Conjuror or Necromancer, Enchanter - Illusionist and Coercer.

As you see, your character can be improved in various way and sometimes is very hard to decide which way is best.

My first character, called Predator, was Fighter - Warrior - Berserker, later i played as Mage - Summoner - Necromancer and later Scout - Predator - Assassin. Anyway I still want to check out other classes and subclasses :-). This game was known for many classes, compared to other multiplayer online games.

Twinks in World of Warcraft want to be cool and best. And look good. Thats your chance to get lot cash. Especially if you are an Alliance. Travel to the Azuremyst Isle (Dreanei island) and look for mob called „Blood Elf Bandit”. Now kill them until you will loot some „Blood Elf Bandit Masks” (no Bind on Equip or Bind on Pickup - you can trade between other players). Now attention - one mask is worth on Auction House 10 gold!

Unfortunately, you have to kill some of these elves, to get just one mask - drop rate is around 10%. After you get some, go to the Goblin Auction House and put all of these masks. Wait some time and you will get lot gold later. After that, you can spend all gold for other kind of stuff, or equipment or skills either. Why buy wow gold when you can easily get some by yourself?

If you ever would get bored with World of Warcraft, you can also try another games. Have you heard about Lord of the Rings Online: Shadow of Angmar? It’s another from online RPG games, created two years ago by Turbine Inc. If you are familiar with Lord of the Rings, Tolkien’s book, you should know about what is Lord of the Rings Online or popular Lotro.

Now, you can enter, amazing world of virtual Middle-Earth! You want to meet Aragorn, Frodo or any other character from Fellowship of the Ring? Now it’s possible!

Shire, Bree, Angmar or Rivendel - with your in-game character, you can explore, many location from Tolkien’s book!

You can pick one of 8 classes: Guardian (tank), Loremaster (something like wizard), Hunter (ranged dps - damage per second), Champion (melee dps class), Burglar (something like theft), Captain (supporting class) and Minstrel (healer- he heal using music lol) + in expansion - Rune Keeper ( he can heal or attack with fire) and Warden (tank?dps?ranged? hard to classify this class).

Game has great engine, totally awesome player vs. realm and great game play. In other hand has poor player vs. player mode and it’s in my opinion only, but significant weakness in Lotro.

What else, in comparison with other online RPG games, Lotro is quality product, with quite large player base and awesome in-game ideas ( i heard about great expansion addons like creating powerful items like Glamdring or Narsil - Gandalf’s and Aragorn’s swords).

If you are looking for very nice game , try out Lord of the Rings Online. Now trial version is suspended, because we are after premiere of Mines of Moria expansion, but in the future it will be available again.

World of Warcraft advices

Welcome on my gold farming guide. Today i would like to add few words about great and very popular MMORPG. Maybe even, one of the most fashionable game ever created? You know World of Warcraft do you? Yeah i bet you know! Well, this awesome online game is nr 1, MMORPG created by Blizzard. It’s top pay-for-play game with awesomely huge player base - 11 millions of subscribed players!!(I wonder how much money Blizzard is taking from people every year. World of Warcraft takes place within the Warcraft world of Azeroth, two years after the events at the conclusion of Blizzard’s previous Warcraft release, Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne (another fantastic game created by Blizzard Ent.)

Basically, in this games you must develop your in-game avatar, explore large in-game world and that’s probably it - but it’s still very entertaining. You can pick one from many races, classes and abilities and side of conflict. There is Horde and Alliance. If you like undeads, creatures like big cows with axes, angry high elves and orcs - pick Horde. If you like humans, elfs from woods, gnoms, dwarves and other kind of stuff, you will love Alliance. In game world is called Azeroth, and is separated into 3 large continents (3rd continent is in expansion). There are many various areas, monsters, items, online players - everything! Well if you like online rpg games, World of Warcraft is already classic.

I heard about many people, who were deceased, while playing in World of Warcraft. Why? They were so suck up by this games, that they actually forget to pay attention on their health. That’s why i suggest to have a longer breaks while playing in this games. Health is most important guys ;-) i know because i have my spine hurts  ;p

While we are at it, I am presenting great are of Winterspring where you can find Ice Thistle Yeti! These Yetis are perfect for skinners (in these part of Winterspring there is lots of monster you can skin).

Yetis are dropping lots of blue and green items and sometimes even epic items. Also tons of valuable vendor trash…if you skin them you will get Thick Leather and Rugged Leather which makes them really good gold farming target. One more thing, this Winterspring is in Everlook north-east from it. If you’ve got problems ask someone I’m sure someone will know.

Hello and welcome on my special place where - in the near future - everyone will be able to find interesting articles and tricks about powerleveling in MMORPG. You don't know what is mean? First - powerleveling, its something you do in online game to get higher level and gold, if you know-how you are able to boost your character level very fast. MMORPG is genre of games and its mean massivelly multiplayer online role playing games :-) these are basic terms.

Why? You can play with, fun. Just read my blog. I think best move is to create guide, to MMO games and powerleveling tips, for special area. Anyway i will try to, write from time to time. I've got some experience as a, player in games such us Heroes of Might and Magic Diablo Panzer General Final Fantasy or Time Commando and Henry's House - on Atari 65 XE ( ehhh old times.. ) now I'm playing mostly, in online game ( i feel more socialized ;P ) and its amazing fun.

Just read, my powerleveling blog and with my advices you are, able to powerlevel your character. I'm little busy student but I, think i will have some time, to create a guide here. Check my powerleveling, blog later for more ! I'm, playing in computer games almost all, my life of course I'm not, playing non-stop but there, are periods when I'm into games and I'm playing like maniac and, there are periods when I'm doing, something else.

I wish i get, some mmo game in the summer but only few, days maybe...what is really, cool after summer there will be, another expansion pack for Lord of the Rings Online, called Mines of Moria :-) They said that level, cap will be raised to 60, level lots of new items and, even 2 new profession ( i dunno which one ) anyway what, is mega cool? Lotro will take us to, the journey to Moria...Shadow and the flame..

But i will, try to write from time to time about games. I just love them all, but my girlfriend is getting angry, when she see me with video, games :/ she told me: If i ever see you playing, World of Warcraft I'm leaving!! As a player, you should know that this kind, of stuff can be really addicting - I'm talking, about MMO games.

You need, to have a break from time to time or, you will lose a many of energy and become, addicted...Maybe sometimes fun is, too pleasant? Games are really, addictive i will wrote about games not, addictions..
